All bungalows at Treehouse Lodge come with comforts you wouldn’t expect to find high in the trees in the middle of the jungle. Showers, sinks, toilets, fresh white linens, comfortable beds, and chairs are our standard. So they don’t come with hot water, but a cool shower after spending the day in the heat is very refreshing. The entire structure of the bungalow is sealed by mosquito mesh woven so fine that it will not obstruct your view in any way. Additionally, each bed is equipped with another layer of mosquito mesh draping’s which tuck in under the mattress.

The friendly staff at Treehouse will take your luggage to and from your bungalow and clean your bungalow daily. After enjoying a nice dinner at the main lodge, the path to your bungalow will be lit ensuring you a peaceful and safe walk home for the night.

Treehouse 9 is uniquely positioned inside numerous branches that cradle the hut comfortably in the jungle’s embrace. It makes a wonderfully natural home with welcoming branches organically integrated into the space. Standing alone, Treehouse 9 is ideal for those who like a little distance from their neighbors. Beautiful views of rainforest and river can be seen in every direction. Further into the jungle, this bungalow brings the sights and sounds of the wild close to home. The journey into the bungalow is as enjoyable as the stay with it's own amazing private staircase that winds around the tree trunk. It sits 45 feet off the ground and spans approximately 16 feet in diameter. Treehouse 9 can be arranged with either one king bed or two twins. Also, a portable cot can be provided if requested for an additional person.

  The experience my daughter and I had at Treehouse Lodge was extraordinary. Oscar, our guide, made the experience unbelievably rich and had a stunning knowledge of local birds and animals. Every day we were able to customize our activities to get the most out of our all-too-short time in this magical place. He put in so much time and effort to get us every experience we asked for, including very early mornings and late evening excursions. He was kind and funny and in all ways a wonderful host. The treehouses are beautiful, really amazing. The sound of rain in the forest over night from the treehouse was hypnotic. I'll never forget it. Both my daughter and I had dietary restrictions, which the lodge accommodated while serving us very tasty food. The service was seamless with on-time, easy pick ups and door-to-door drop offs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Lodge itself is a beautiful, 2-story space with hammocks, spots to hang and views of hummingbirds and monkeys. I can't recommend it more highly. It's truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

We had 3 generations: grandpa & grandma, aunts & uncles, & 18 grandchildren. It was an amazing experience. The guides weee so good at what they do. We caught piranhas,, identified birds, found snakes, swam with river dolphins, visit an Amazon community, made blow dart guns, had excellent food, and enjoyed being immersed in the Amazon in the lovely Treehouse Lodge. It definitely is an adventure. We felt like 2 nights/3 days was a great stay and were able to do everything we wanted to do.

  I have not a single complaint from my experience with the Treehouse Lodge! I was picked up at the airport with a luggage cart waiting, where I met my tour guide, Roberto, who was amazing for all four days of my stay. The shuttle ride and boat trip to the lodge were wonderful. My treehouse (#9) was gorgeous and quiet. I was treated like royalty by every staff member. The dining team was fantastic! The food was five star! I especially loved (and recommend) fishing. I wouldn’t change a thing.

  Our stay at the Treehouse Lodge was much more than a vacation rental. From our arrival at the Iquitos airport until our departure from the same, our group (me and my son, his wife, and his mother-in-law) was in the capable hands of the same guide from the lodge, Weninger. He was an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of the Amazon basin and its flora and fauna. He was available to us throughout our 4-day stay, taking us on multiple excursions on the rivers and into the jungle. In the lodge itself, we had three gourmet meals each day. Our tree houses high above the jungle floor provided an experience unlikely to be found anywhere else. I strongly recommend this lodge to anyone who wants to experience the Peruvian Amazon.

  If you're looking to get off the grid and and experience everything the jungle has to offer, this place is for you. The staff were all very professional and always helpful, focused on making our stay a fantastic experience. The guide we had (Amondo) was one of the best we could have hoped for with his knowledge and passion for his home turf. We always felt safe on the journey would recommend this to anyone looking to get in touch with nature and completely unplug. The best way to get to know a place is 'boots-on-ground' and you have no choice but to get immersed. The treehouses were comfortable and did a great job protecting against mosquitos. The journey to get there is a long one, but definitely worth it.

  First of all, we were supposed to stay at Tree house lodge in 2020 and had to cancel due to covid. Tree House Lodge were extremely accomodating and allowed us to come back at any date, with no expiry. We were finally able to come back in January 2023, at no additional cost. We stayed at tree house lodge as a family of 4, with teenage kids. It was an amazing experience we will never forget! The rooms were lovely and we also loved the main dining room with the relaxing area upstairs where we played games, had cocktails, and took naps in the hammocks! It is very special being in the middle of the Amazon forest and river, very far away from any city or town! The food was great, staff were really friendly and helpful, many activities to choose from, and our guide Vily was extremely lovely and knowledgeable! We highly recommend staying at tree house lodge!

Sin embargo, tuvimos un inconveniente con el señor que nos hizo la reserva, me indican que su nombre es Carlos, ya que me indicó que nos podían recoger del hotel donde nos estábamos hospedando para llevarnos al tree house, le dije que nos estábamos hospedando en el Hotel Irapay Lodge, a lo que el señor me dijo que si podían recogernos, incluso un día antes a las 6pm me confirmó que nos recogerían. A las 10 pm me llama el señor diciendo que no nos podian recoger porque el hotel era lejos y que yo debí de decirle donde quedaba y prácticamente me dijo que yo lo engañé. Yo le dije que era una turista y que él debería saber mejor que yo, dónde quedan los hoteles en Iquitos y confirmar las direcciones para saber si nos recogen o no. La actitud del señor fue pésima e incluso me dijo que me devolvería el dinero. Yo tuve que contratar una movilidad para que me lleve a la plaza de Armas y me puedan recoger desde allá. EL señor nunca me dió una solución y me dijo que era mi problema y que no podía hacer nada. Creo que deberían mejorar en la atención que brindan al cliente y sobre todo hacerse cargo de los errores que cometen.

  The treehouse lodge is an amazing lodge with treehouses in the canopy. You can see monkeys from your treehouse. We fished for piranhas and caught 3 saw sloths, toucan, macaws, monkeys (even the spider monkey). The number of different animals we saw was incredible. Even more than we could imagine. Orlando was our guide and he was amazing with so much knowledge of the jungle. Andres was a great boater and got us to so many spots we did not think we could pass. We did so many excursions in 3 days. The guides helped plan our days and made sure we did everything we wanted to. We would highly recommend it. Once in a lifetime. Go.
  
  I am a picky eater and vegetarian but both my other family are carnivores and we all loved the food. Our son,12, tried so many new foods. He made friends with the bartender/waiter Martin and chef Antonio. He felt so welcomed. He stated it was a 21 out of a 10. This was a once in a lifetime experience. We would highly recommend.

  I came across an ad for the treehouse lodge when I was researching Peru and planned a whole trip to the Amazon through Iquitos to experience this. And the tree house lodge did not disappoint!   My husband and I have dreaming about living in a treehouse since childhood. And we are so thankful for Treehouse lodge to make this dream real. This project is something really amazing. This place is stylish, cozy and so natural at the same time. We will never forget this experience: to go to sleep with sounds of the night jungle, when you can even hear how pink dolphins are swimming and breathing in the river and see how fireflies are flying around your comfortable treehouse and wake up with birds and monkeys around. And it's also important that houses are made so good, that no mosquitos and jungle animals can get inside, so you are like a part of the surrounding nature, but very comfortable and safe part))
  We also got so much pleasure from all the excursions we had with our individual guide, no rush, doing what you want and learning so many interesting things. Our guide was Marden! Many thanks for him!!! We met pink dolphins, sloths, different monkeys, had piranha fishing and many other interesting moments.
  Also we are very thankful for all the other people who work in Treehouse lodge, as cookers, barmen, transfer, boat drivers, managers... All of them were very kind and helpful and tried to make our vacation as comfortable and unforgettable as possible!!! Thank you all guys for this amazing experience!!!

  The tours and guides were fantastic, so much to see and we really felt taken care of. The kitchen is also fantastic, the food was great!
  
  Housekeeping however is a DISASTER. they left the lights on in our room the first night, we had a million animals in our room and had to change rooms.. the next day they were supposed to fix the mosquito net and clean everything. We came to the room, first thing I see is 20 cm whole next to the entrance door in the net. Inside the whole balustrade was full of dead mosquitos - not a few, but really covered in dead animals.
  I feel like they have now idea how to clean, they came back and they didn’t use a mop etc for cleaning, they just took a towel, smeared everything in that and threw the rest to the floor (which wasn’t clean either).
  
  The curtains are also full of dead animals, not so nice when it’s a few centimeters away from you when you shower. The linens had holes in them and were also not clean (different-colored hair than ours on the pillows etc)
  
  Overall the treehouse was not in a good shape. Where the net is connected to the floor there are mummified animals everywhere, it would be appropriate to like vacuum clean that once a week, not every 5 years as it seems.
  
  Maintenance and house keeping are really really substandard and need to improve. You feel like you overpaid a little there.
  
  Other than that - most amazing place ever!!!! Again, kitchen, guides, tours, waiters were beyond fantastic. The manager himself too was very sorry for the mistakes and incredibly nice. So overall, it’s very worth coming there - the issues could be very easily fixed too!

  I wanted to take the time to really choose my words carefully, so that I could emphasize what a fantastic time I had at the Treehouse Lodge. Unfortunately I could not find the perfect words so I will just have to settle singing these praises. I stayed in Treehouse #9 from June 5, 2021- June 9, 2021. It goes without saying that Treehouse lodge is so uniquely beautiful with treehouses in the canopy of the Amazon rainforest, but it is the staff that makes this place Exceptional. From the pickup at the airport with our wonderful and safe driver Robert, to the flawless housekeeper (I really wish I got his name to credit him) with exceptional focus on details. Being a big foodie, I was especially excited daily by Americo’s delicious meals. And then they were served by the delightful Martin, who always knew what I needed before I did. And was so knowledgeable and helpful. And finally our incredible guide, Johnny and driver, Jerison. I could go on and on about these two. I feel that I had the best guides for me and my experience. I really wanted to feel like I was in the Amazon, see all the animals and do everything I could. They made sure this was possible plus more! They were so kind, flexible and you could tell they thoroughly enjoyed showing us around their home “the Amazon”. I wasn’t sure this trip would live up to my high expectations I have been building and dreaming of since I was 7 years old but it surpassed them! Thank you so much for everything!

  Two things to note: my card was charged twice, when I wrote to reservations the second transaction was immediately refunded but I still paid twice my bank fees. Second: food was freinch cuisine, very nice prepared and presented but I would have preferred more Peruvian food. Between meals a serving of fruits would have been nice.

  The treehouse was an experience our whole family was looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. The views were amazing, the service was top rate, and the day excursions were everyone's highlights. Our boat driver caught a Kayman, we hugged tree sloths, held an anaconda from the nearby village, saw dolphins jumping at sunset, fished for parana's in a hidden lagoon... We did see a tarantula (harmless) on the trunk of the tree OUTSIDE of the tree house, a snake in the eaves of the walkway (again, way out of harms way) and we had a small spider and a couple ants inside, but the netting provided excellent protection from mosquitos and you have to expect a tiny visitor or two when you are living in a tree. Purified water was provided for brushing teeth, and showers were refreshing. The kids loved the towel animals on our beds each evening. The best part for me, a parent of two children with Celiac Disease, was the care and quality of food served. My children were able to eat gluten free, worry free, and had no issues. Any possible ingredients of question were run by me, and they were able to enjoy every meal. My husband would have liked larger portions, but they were adequate for me. The only negative is the boat launching (in Nauta) bathroom accommodations were inadequate and should be addressed. It is only an issue when arriving and leaving, but as part of the transfer experience from Iquitos, it was disappointing.

  The most unique accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. The treehouses were incredible! Clean and amazingly no bugs. The staff was great and so helpful. I liked the way everything was organized and how everything was kept clean. For staying up in the canopy, there is no better place than the Treehosue Lodge. It was an wonderful stay.

  Sleeping in a treehouse was an amazing experience. I've seen a few others around the world and this one truly made you feel like you were outdoors and sleeping in the middle of the rainforest, yet safe and protected at the same time. It's luxury for a treehouse, but have to remember it's not a hotel. But the staff is amazing and will treat you like you're at a 5 Star hotel. Food was fantastic and just a great stay overall. If it was closer to NY, I'd go again real soon, but it's location is also what makes it so special. Highly recommend.
